| To better serve our customers
and the operators of aerial work platforms, Skyjack is pleased to announce that we are
making significant modifications to our safety training programs, training materials and
related administrative support. The current SJIII, SJRT, and SJKB Safety Training Program
have been replaced with two distinct training options.

The first option is the AWPT
Program. AWPT (Aerial Work Platform Training Inc.) is the North American subsidiary of
IPAF (International Powered Access Federation), the most successful and widely recognized
provider of Aerial Work Platform training programs in the world. The AWPT Program is generic in nature and is based on the IPAF program, the only safety training program certified to be in compliance with the new ISO Standard 18878 Mobile elevating work platforms – Operator (driver) training. As a result of a collaborative effort between Skyjack and AWPT to adapt the
European IPAF program to the North American market, Skyjack has opened two AWPT authorized
Training Centers, one in
St.Charles, IL, USA and the other in Guelph, Ontario CANADA.

The second training option is
the new Skyjack Operator Training Program, which has been strengthened with the addition
of materials from the AWPT program. In order to ensure that the
delivery of both the AWPT and Skyjack programs meet requisite criteria, we have created a
Registered Instructor Training Course for both of the training options. Skyjack and AWPT
will only issue their respective certificates of completion to those who have successfully
completed programs taught by Registered Skyjack or AWPT Instructors. We believe that this
process is one that greatly benefits our customers, as well as owners and operators of
aerial work platforms, and industry as a whole. We hope that you will embrace and support
these new initiatives. We look forward to providing you with the tools and skills
necessary for the safe, productive and effective use of aerial work platforms. Please feel
free to contact the undersigned if you have any questions or concerns regarding our
available programs, materials and services!
