LLEAP award for ELEVATE Live signifies Skyjack’s strong position in telematics market

POSTED November 10, 2021

November 10, 2021; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division earned first place for its ELEVATE Live product in the Aftermarket Support Products & Service category of Lift and Access magazine’s LLEAP competition.

ELEVATE Live allows operators to access information like emergency lowering procedures, pre-use inspection guides, familiarisation materials, and a machine’s current state of health helping rental companies save money and reduce workloads.

“We’re seeing an increase in adoption of telematics in our industry as rental companies around the world recognize it as a key operational tool,” says Rodolfo Benavides, digital product manager at Skyjack. “We built upon the success of the ELEVATE platform and developed a tool to deliver critical machine information at the machine level. The LLEAP award is a reflection of this innovative product enhancement.”

ELEVATE Live is available on all Skyjack equipment, whether or not ELEVATE telematics is installed. Information is accessed through a QR code eliminating the need to download apps and remember login details. If a machine has ELEVATE telematics installed, the operator will see more detailed information like the machine’s state of health including battery life percentage, last charge date, and recommended charging instructions. This information is made available through ELEVATE’s Battery Management System (BMS).

“It’s a pleasure to be recognized for cutting-edge technology that offers operators and rental companies a trove of useful information,” says Mike Sheremeta, telematics business development associate at Skyjack. “We’re proud to have engineered ELEVATE Live as a simple-to-use feature that promotes better treatment of equipment and ultimately achieves lower cost of ownership for customers.”

Lift and Access is North America’s most comprehensive lifting equipment magazine. The Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Aerial Platforms (LLEAP) competition recognizes newly introduced innovative lifting equipment, aerial platforms, and related products.

LLEAP winners will be featured in an article in the November-December edition of Lift and Access magazine, as well as online at www.liftandaccess.com after the printed edition of the magazine is mailed to readers at the end of November.
