Skyjack Launches New Narrow Width SJ3232 E Slab Scissor
POSTED January 28, 2026
January 28, 2026; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division announces the launch of their new SJ3232 E electric drive scissor lift, representing the newest model in Skyjack’s range of slab scissors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the narrow width and machine length of only 91.5” (2.32 m) make the SJ3232 E ideal when both height and compact performance are needed. No stabilizers also mean the SJ3232 E is drivable at full height. These machines provide a clean, quiet, sustainable rental solution with zero emissions, low operating costs, and increased utilization.
With a working height of 37’ 7” (11.46 m) and a load capacity of 550 lbs (249 kg), this E-Drive model boasts exceptionally responsive control, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of construction, maintenance, and industrial applications. The intelligent adaptive variable speed rear-wheel brushless electric drive system provides exceptional duty cycles, a smooth automatic transition from high to low speed on a grade, and 25% gradeability. Fully proportional drive and lift controls offer efficiency, controllability, and improved torque and traction.
“The narrow width and compact length of the SJ3232 E provides superior maneuverability and functionality,” said Charlie Patterson, Skyjack President. “Skyjack’s slab scissors are known for reliability, durability, and serviceability. We are thrilled to see our simply electric, zero-emission E-Drive scissor line grow and continue to serve the rental industry.”
The SJ3232 E offers a 1-person outdoor wind-rating with no stabilizers required, for optimal performance and utilization. The all-steel, anti-slip platform provides a large working area while minimizing space between platform and workface. The platform incorporates multiple lanyard attachment points and a manually operated 3’ (0.90 m) roll-out extension deck for an optimized work area and up-and-over capability. The modular rail system easily folds down to reduce stowed height for transportation.
“The new SJ3232 E has easy-to-understand control systems, with an on-board digital diagnostics display that allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts, and load-sensing information. No plug-in calibration is necessary for day-to-day troubleshooting, all major service points are easily accessible, and common parts across our slab scissor range make for straightforward maintenance and repairs,” adds Corey Connolly, Skyjack’s Head of Product Management. “Additionally, Skyjack’s ECO mark supports customers by outlining the environmental performance and long-term sustainability of our machines.”
The SJ3232 E provides a simple, reliable, environmentally-friendly, and sustainable choice for rental and is available now in North American and European regions. Learn more at www.skyjack.com/product/sj3232-e.
