July 29, 2025; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division proudly supported the annual McFadden’s Movement Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, which took place at Victoria Park East Golf Club in Guelph, Ontario on July 18. Skyjack was once again the presenting sponsor of this successful fundraising event.

The fifth annual tournament benefitted McFadden’s Movement, an organization striving to help bring grassroots awareness to mental health issues among athletes. The Movement has had incredible success raising funds for mental health resources since the inaugural event in 2021. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of community sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, the 2025 event brought in a new all-time fundraising record at over $36,000!

“Thanks to the support of Linamar and Skyjack, we are helping build up tremendous local resources for those who need support with their mental health,” said Garrett McFadden, founder of McFadden’s Movement. “We have had another record-breaking fundraising year and none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of Skyjack and their team. We can’t wait for next year and to celebrate 10 years of McFadden’s Movement!”

Continuing with the popular celebrity-style format, the tournament featured an impressive roster of current and former Guelph Storm alumni and professional-level players, allowing golfers to register as a threesome and get the chance to play with these local celebrities.

To date, McFadden’s Movement has raised over $194,000 for mental health resources like the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo-Wellington branch through Skyjack-supported road hockey and golf tournaments. The McFadden’s Movement Celebrity Charity Classic has now raised over $132,000 through five years.
