POSTED June 05, 2025

June 5, 2025; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division has announced the landing of the new range of battery powered electric rough terrain articulated booms in Europe. Skyjack’s newest SJ45 AJE + and SJ60 AJE + models - available with 51ft (15.7m) and 66ft (20.1m) working heights - are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Including many of the design features that users have come to expect from Skyjack, the all-electric axle-based drive offers excellent traction, while high performance AC electric traction and pump motors deliver high torque power and consistent multi-function capability.

Following the 2024 launch, the new booms have made their mark in the European market. Most recently, Swedish company Heri AB received two SJ60 AJE +. Located in Luleå, Heri operates as a wholesaler in the construction and industrial sectors. Skyjack customers since 1995, Heri is constantly renewing their fleet with very high environmental ambitions making the electric booms an ideal fit as 83% of their lifts are electric or hybrid.

”It´s exciting to try new products. We focus a lot on electrical driven equipment even though we are located just 120km below the polar circle,” said Henrik Erlandsson, Sales Manager, Heri AB. “We have now had the new Skyjack E-booms running for over 3 winter months and they are operating with excellence. I´m putting the E-booms straight to the top 3 list of Skyjack machines!”

SkyAccess Handel AG received four booms in 2024, two SJ45 AJE+ and two SJ60 AJE+. The new machines are for their biggest customer, the Swiss rental company WS-Skyworker AG, who is one of the largest owners, with over 500 machines from Skyjack.
