September 19, 2025; Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNR) Skyjack division highlights the recent announcement that the new micro XStep has won the 2025 Rental Editor’s Choice Award. The micro XStep is one of the latest products in Skyjack’s ACCESSORYZERS™ line, and is compatible with Skyjack’s award-winning, simply electric micro scissor lifts that are now available to rental companies and contractors across North America and Europe.

The micro XStep enables operators of the new SJ3213 micro and the SJ3219 micro to gain additional work height in tight spaces while maximising productivity. Like the original XStep, the micro XStep was introduced to empower operators working in hard-to-reach places such as piping, ceiling work, and between HVAC units.

Much like the original XStep, the micro version is mounted on the mid-rail of the scissor lift and creates an additional 19 inches (48.26 cm) of working height. The top railing design and height provide operators with the same degree of security as a conventional platform. The design seamlessly pairs with the new micro line, offering 250 lbs (113.4 kg) of capacity and easy stowing or removal. The micro XStep can be moved from one machine to another for optimal productivity compared to other systems on the market that are permanent and must be ordered per machine.
