SKYJACK EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS AT M&T EXPO 2015
Linamar Corporation’s (TSX:LNP) Skyjack division had its best showing yet at Latin America’s largest construction and mining equipment event, the M&T EXPO 2015, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
Skyjack’s booth was one of the most-visited and talked-about during the show, highlighting the strong presence the company has carved out for itself in the country and region over the last few years. Skyjack also closed a surprisingly high number of sales and deals at the event.
“We had a fantastic display at M&T EXPO this year,” said Adriano Battazza, Skyjack’s Latin America sales director. “Customers agree the market in the region is still challenging, however, the outlook is of stability and better days ahead.”
In Brazil since 2011, Skyjack has established itself as the leading aerial work platform brand in the country, reaping in the rewards of the company’s “Simply Reliable” philosophy.
Skyjack brought its unmatched line of AWPs and after-sales solutions to the M&T EXPO 2015, exhibiting some of the global manufacturer’s most popular models, such as the world’s best-selling electric scissor, the SJIII 3219, alongside the SJIII 3226 and SJIII 4632. Articulating booms SJ46 AJ and SJ63 AJ were also featured, a segment in which Skyjack is growing its market share in the region.
“Skyjack machines are widely recognized for being simply reliable and for offering an excellent return on investment,” said Rafael Bazzarella, sales manager and senior IPAF instructor at Skyjack in Brazil. “With rising energy costs around the world, Skyjack offers the smartest solutions both in terms of sustainability and innovation. Our machines are the perfect match for savvy entrepreneurs in Brazil, Latin America and beyond.”
From its operations center in Indaiatuba, São Paulo state, Skyjack’s main goal is to provide Latin American customers with highly dependable, low-maintenance aerial work platforms and unrivaled support services.
“Our ongoing strategy includes increasing after-sales assistance; reducing parts and equipment delivery times; providing training in safety, service and sales; and offering financing options through partnerships with local banks,” Battazza added. “I’d like to acknowledge the efforts of our Brazilian team throughout the years and at this year’s M&T. The coordination and logistics for the event were very successful. Our existing and new customers were very impressed.”
The M&T EXPO 2015 attracted more than 45,000 visitors to the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, from June 9-13, 2015, marking the event’s most successful edition to date.
